Here's the remainder of the store-bought Madeleines
Here’s the remainder of the store-bought Madeleines

Susie recently bought my son and I a box of Madeleines that we’re quickly eating up. Today we’re down to two and I thought to myself, “I should try to make some of those.” The next thought was, “I should try to make some of those and try to trick my son into thinking that they’re the store-bought Madeleines that he loves.” The final thought before I finished making them was that I will name them Dadeleines.

Below are some pictures. I will add to this post with the results after he comes home from school.

UPDATE: “They look weird. They’re crispy.” After I told him I made them, he now says, “they’re so good!”

Since the Dadeleines and the Madeleines looked so different, I had to take the Madeleines out of the package
