One day after school my son was telling me that he learned about clouds in kindergarten. He had a worksheet that showed different pictures of clouds, their names, and their characteristics. He was saying that one of the clouds meant that there was supposed to be rain. His homework was even to look for clouds, name them, and describe what they meant.

Later on we went to the park to play some soccer. We were playing until around sunset. I looked up and saw some interesting looking clouds above us in the Los Angeles sky. I asked him, “so what do those clouds mean?” He looked up, paused for a moment and said, “um, I think.. it’s going to snow.”
