We went to our favorite store, Petco, today. The project that we wanted to work on was an obstacle course for the fish. FishBoy thought it would be fun to put some hoops in the tank so that the fish could swim through.
We didn’t find any fish, but we did see about 6 snails in one of the goldfish tanks. I’m wondering if they got them because of us. We were asking the guy a lot of questions about snails on our last trip to Petco. About three of the snails were upside-down. I wasn’t sure if they were even alive. The salesman said they were fine, and we believed him. We couldn’t find any hoops or anything similar to make up our obstacle course.
We bought a snail and brought it home. I put the snail in the tank and made sure to align him so he or she was right-side up. FishBoy named him Super Snuggy Snail. We have to remember to keep the door to the top of the aquarium closed, otherwise Super Snuggy Snail may escape.
I think FishMom won’t notice Super Snuggy Snail for at least a month.
